The NUTTERS History
Roy Chittleborough and Joe Morgan, together with Edward Sexton, were the sartorial skill that gave life to the glorious creations of Tommy Nutter. When NUTTERS of Savile Row opened in 1969 tailoring and the fashion world were changed forever. Tommy brought a new, revolutionary energy to Savile Row. With signature roped shoulder, broad lapel, tight pocketless trousers, NUTTERS dressed customers from Elton John to Mick and Bianca Jagger. John Lennon and The Beatles famously crossed Abbey Road in Nutters suits.
The expert hands of Nutters, Roy Chittleborough and Joe Morgan now weave their bespoke magic in their own firm at No.12 Savile Row. These two Nutters are still creating historic suits. Their house style now has a calmer, more elegant look but there is still that unmistakable energy of Savile Row history.
